Double Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies

1 ½ cups Star agreena shortening
¼ cup water
1 ½ cups light brown sugar
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 ½ tsp vanilla extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 ½ tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
10 oz. bag of milk chocolate chips
10 oz. bag dark chocolate chips

STEP 1. Using a stand mixer fitted with the paddle, beat the shortening, water, sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla on medium speed for 3-5 minutes.
STEP 2. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt.
STEP 3. Slowly, add in dry ingredients to the mixer until incorporated. Remove bowl and paddle attachment. Using a wooden spoon or spatula, stir in chocolate chips
STEP 4. Chill dough for 1 hour.
STEP 5. Preheat oven to 350֯.
STEP 6. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper. Form dough into golf ball-sized balls and place 5 per baking sheet.
STEP 7. Bake for 15-17 minutes, rotating pans halfway through baking.
STEP 8. Remove cookies from baking sheets and cool on racks. Repeat with remaining dough.
